Brief Profile

Antigua and Barbuda people, also known as Mulatto, are of mixed descent from a twin island nation lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Today, an increasingly large percentage of the population lives abroad, most notably in the United Kingdom (Antiguan Britons), United States and Canada.

Being of mixed descent, they come from a culture that is predominantly a mixture of West African and British cultural influences. American popular culture and fashion also have a heavy influence.

Their national sport is cricket. Family and religion also play a very important aspect in their lives.
