Brief Profile

Grenadian people migrated from Grenada, an island country consisting of Grenada itself and six smaller islands at the southern end of the Grenadines in the southeastern Caribbean Sea. New York is the main place of Grenadian emigration in the world.

Although Grenadians speak English, many Grenadians speak their "creole" or "broken Creole, a combination of French, English, and African patois. Many Grenadian organizations exist in North America, which have as their primary objective to send funds to support their family in their homeland.

The majority of Grenadians are Roman Catholic followed by others being Protestants. Islam is also practiced by some Grenadians. A small number of Grenadians practice Rastafarianism.

Prayer Points

  • Pray that Grenadians will come in contact and also become friends with people who live a life that is influenced with Jesus Christ in their daily affairs of life.
  • Pray that evangelicals will live among, learn the Grenadian culture, and share Christ both in word and deed.
